Our client is a specialist remedial building and engineering consultancy operating across NSW. They deliver defect investigation, remedial construction, project management and dispute support services for Class 2 strata, commercial and mixed‐use buildings.

Their team combines in‐house engineering expertise with strong project delivery capability, working closely with owners' corporations, strata managers, commercial property owners and legal representatives. About the role:
n
This role (head office based in Punchbowl) sits across project management and project delivery, overseeing remedial and defect rectification projects from initial scope through to close‐out. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate site activities, ensure quality assurance, and support defect dispute matters (including NCAT) with documentation and registers.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Manage remedial and defect rectification projects across Class 2 strata, commercial and mixed‐use buildings
n
Prepare scopes, RFQs, tenders and project documentation
n
Coordinate facade, waterproofing, concrete repair and rope‐access subcontractors
n
Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and manage QA and hold points
n
Maintain defect registers, variations, reports and close‐out documentation
n
Support NCAT matters with document control and evidence collation
n
Liaise with engineers, strata managers, owners' corporations and subcontractors
n
Track budgets, manage variations and ensure projects meet safety and compliance requirements
n
Qualifications & Experience:
n




Experience in remedial building, defect rectification, or Class 2 projects
n
Strong project management and subcontractor coordination experience
n
Understanding of remedial scopes, QA, tendering and defect processes
n
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
n
Excellent communication, organisation and documentation skills
n
Building, construction, engineering or related qualification (desirable)
n

Defect Rectification / Building Diagnostics roles involving Class 2 strata or mixed‐use buildings
n
Facade, waterproofing, concrete repair or building envelope project coordination
n
Strata‐focused construction or engineering environments where defect management and client communication are key
n
This role is best suited to someone who is confident managing both technical requirements and client‐side communication, with strong documentation discipline and the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors across active sites.
