Qualifications
n
n
Must have Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification
n
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or Social Sciences.
n
Master's Degree preferred.
n
Certification in related field for CST or Teaching certification required.
n
Post-baccalaureate training in applied behavior analysis or comparable field preferred.
n
Specialized training and/or demonstrated expertise in school-based applied behavior analysis with a focus on students with autism.
n
Experience conducting comprehensive formal and informal functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing behavior improvements plans (BIP).
n
Experience working with students with behavioral, social, emotional, and multiple disabilities.
n
Handle with Care, CPI, or alternative training preferred.
n
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education deems appropriate under state law.
