Venue & Event Manager | Luxury Vessel & Events

As Venue & Event Manager, you will take ownership of the onboard hospitality and event experience across both private charters and public cruises. You will oversee everything from event planning and client requirements through to staff leadership, food and beverage, bar operations and service delivery. You will be onboard for most charters, leading by example and ensuring every detail is taken care of.

Key responsibilities
n
Manage private charters, events and public cruises
n
Coordinate event details, client requirements and run sheets
n
Lead, roster, train and support hospitality staff
n
Oversee onboard bar and dining operations
n
Ensure food, beverages and supplies are ordered and ready
n
Work closely with chefs, caterers and suppliers
n
Manage Square POS and operational systems
n
Ensure the vessel is beautifully presented before every charter
n
Monitor costs, minimise wastage and support profitability
n
About you
n
5+ years hospitality or restaurant experience
n
3+ years in a management or leadership role
n
Restaurant, hotel, venue or event management experience
n
Experience leading and rostering staff
n
Strong food and beverage knowledge
n
Bar and service management experience
n
Experience coordinating events or functions
n
POS experience — Square highly regarded
n
Solid communication and organisational skills
n
Ability to work weekends and around charter schedules
