Key Duties
n
n
Erecting, testing and maintaining overhead and underground electrical wires and cables.
n
Examining drawings, specifications and work sites to determine installation requirements and cable positioning.
n
Installing and connecting electrical wires and cables to equipment and infrastructure.
n
Adjusting, repairing and replacing faulty components and equipment.
n
Testing and commissioning electrical systems using electronic testing instruments.
n
Erecting, testing and maintaining aerial structures including steel lattice towers and steel/concrete poles.
n
Performing construction and maintenance activities in accordance with safety, quality and project requirements.
n

About You
n
n




Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Linesworker.
n
Current Australian
n
n
High Risk Work Licences/Tickets including: RB - Basic Rigging, DG - Dogging, WP - Elevating Work Platform, C6 - Crane Licence
n
n
Experience working on electrical transmission and/or distribution networks.
n
Current Australian driver's licence.
n
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Ability to work in regional and remote locations.
n
