About the Role
n
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our friendly team on a permanent Casual basis, with the opportunity to progress to part time. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our Principal Solicitor.
n
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
n
Delivering thorough administrative assistance, including drafting correspondence, managing client files, and client invoicing.
n
Drafting legal documents such as Family Law Initiating Applications and Responses, Financial Statements, Case Outlines, Subpoenas and Affidavits.
n
Coordinating appointments and communicating with clients in a professional and timely manner.
n
Maintaining and organizing both electronic and physical filing systems.
n




Performing general office tasks such as photocopying, answering phone calls, and responding to enquiries.

About You
n
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and possess excellent communication skills.
n
Australian citizenship is required for this position.
n
To be successful in this role you will:
n
Have at least two (2) years' experience working in Family Law essential
n
Possess strong organizational skills.
n
Be proactive and resourceful, having the ability to work autonomously.
n
Be detail-oriented and produce work of a consistently high standard.
n
Be well presented and qualified.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
n
Be available to work at least three (3) days of the week (ideally including Monday), working hours 9am - 5pm.
n
Be located locally and able to travel to work.
n
Renumeration will be commensurate with experience.
