Senior Project Engineer
Iconic Project | 5-Year Pipeline
Central Gold Coast
We are currently seeking an experiencedSenior Project Engineerto join the team delivering a large, iconic project on theCentral Gold Coast.
The project will be delivered acrossmultiple stages over approximately five years, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to be involved in a significant development from an early stage through to completion.
You will work closely with an experiencedSenior Project Managerand a dynamic project team, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your technical and commercial skills while working alongside experienced construction professionals.
About the Role
Coordinate engineering and technical activities across the project
Manage RFIs, shop drawings, technical documentation and design coordination
Coordinate subcontractors and engineering interfaces
Assist with procurement and management of subcontractor packages
Monitor programme, quality and construction outcomes
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
Support the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager with project delivery
Identify and resolve technical and construction issues
Contribute to the successful delivery of the project across multiple stages
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Proven experience as aProject Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
Experience working on major construction projects
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a project team
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
