Complete Staff Solutionsare seeking aPart-Time Junior Network Support Engineer or early-career ICT/Networking Support Officerwho can provide onsite support at aCoffs Harbourcampus environment, backed by senior remote network engineers and vendor escalation channels.

Location:Must live within approximately 30 minutes of the Coffs Harbour campus
Casual Pay Rate:$***** - $***** per hour + super (dependant on skills, experience and qualifications)
Hours/Days:Initially part time, generally one day per week onsite, with a requirement to be available for urgent callouts during the operational support period
The engagement is structured as follows
Onboarding Phase: 28 September **** to 27 November ****
Operational Support Phase 1: 30 November **** to 18 December ****
Operational Support Phase 2: 4 January **** to 27 February ****
Onsite requirement: generally one day per week
On-call requirement:
from 30 November **** through to 27 February **** for urgent network incidents
Callout arrangement: approved callout work will be paid at overtime rates
The role would suit someone with practical or developing capability in:
Layer 2 switching, VLANs, access ports and trunk ports
Basic Layer 3 routing concepts
DHCP and DNS troubleshooting
Wireless networking support
Ping, ICMP, connectivity testing and structured network diagnostics
Customer-facing support and clear communication
Drivers Licence
2 x work related references
