TRADE ASSISTANT WANTED – LIGHT VEHICLE WORKSHOP

JB's is a fast-growing Townsville company, and we're looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our Light Vehicle team!
n
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is keen to learn and wants exposure to an enormous variety of vehicles, machinery and mechanical work.
n
What will you be doing?
n
n
Assisting our qualified tradespeople with the day-to-day running of the LV workshop
n
Helping with servicing, repairs and general workshop tasks
n
Picking up and delivering parts
n
Keeping the light-vehicle bays clean, organised and ready for work
n
Learning about different tools, vehicles, systems and workshop processes
n
Pitching in wherever the team needs a hand
n
n

What we're looking for:
n

A current driver's licence - this is essential
n
A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
n
Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
n
Someone who takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised
n
A team player who isn't afraid to get involved
n
An interest in vehicles or the mechanical trade
n
n
Previous workshop experience is not necessary. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and enthusiasm.
n
For the right candidate, this position has the potential to develop into a Light Vehicle Mechanical Apprenticeship, making it a outstanding opportunity to begin building a long-term trade career with JB's.
