Mt Wilga Private Hospital has an exciting casual position available within our Catering Team. As a Food Services Assistant, you'll play an significant role in supporting our high-quality, safe and compassionate food service.

In this hands‐on role, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Assisting with food preparation and the daily operations of the kitchen.
n
Preparing and serving meals and beverages to patients, in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards.
n
Cleaning meal trays, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, and maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times.
n
Working collaboratively with your colleagues in the Catering Team to ensure meals and service are delivered efficiently and on time.
n
n
About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will be a reliable and positive team player who enjoys working in a busy environment.
n
You will also demonstrate:
n
n
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or hospital environment (highly desirable).
n
Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and patient-focused approach.
n
The ability to follow food safety, infection control, workplace health and safety and other hospital requirements.
n
The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive workplace environment, including a willingness to accept and promote Ramsay's core values.
n
Flexibility and availability to work across a 7-day roster.
n

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $*****+ casual loading + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW General Services Officer gr2)
