About the Role:
n
Working closely with Dentists and the wider clinical team, you'll provide confident and efficient chairside dental assistance while helping ensure every patient receives a professional, comfortable and positive experience.
n
Your role will involve supporting a variety of dental procedures, preparing surgeries, maintaining high infection-control standards and ensuring the clinical environment operates efficiently.
n
This position would suit an experienced Dental Nurse in Albury-Wodonga who is confident working in a busy practice, takes pride in their clinical standards and is looking for an employer that offers both stability and career development.

Key Responsibilities
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Providing professional chairside dental assistance during a range of procedures
n
Preparing dental surgeries and treatment rooms before and between patients
n
Assisting Dentists with general, restorative, cosmetic, implant and orthodontic procedures
n
Preparing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
n
Completing sterilisation and infection-control processes in accordance with Australian standards
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised clinical environment
n
Accurately maintaining clinical documentation and patient records
n
Protecting patient privacy and confidentiality
n
Monitoring and replenishing dental supplies and clinical consumables
n
Supporting smooth clinical workflows throughout the day
n




Working collaboratively with Dentists, Dental Assistants, reception and other members of the practice
n
n
About You:
n
We're looking for more than someone who can simply assist chairside. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and dependable Dental Nurse who takes genuine pride in their clinical work and patient care.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse or Clinical Dental Nurse - essential
n
Certificate III in Dental Assisting - essential
n
Solid knowledge of dental infection prevention and sterilisation procedures
n
Experience assisting with a variety of dental procedures
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Strong organisation and attention to detail
n
The ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment
n
A professional, reliable and patient-focused approach
n
A positive attitude and willingness to continue developing your clinical skills
n
Current immunisation records, with vaccination support potentially available through the practice
n
