English Teacher
for a full-time position in
Perth
. This role offers the opportunity to teach
Years 7–12 English
, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' literacy, writing, language, and analytical skills. You will inspire a love of English, foster critical thinking, and support student growth across all year levels.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver student-centered English lessons for Years 7–12
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support learning
Integrate technology and contemporary assessment tools into teaching
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum
Support student wellbeing and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
What we are looking for




Bachelor of Education (English) or equivalent
Full registration with the relevant WA teaching authority
Valid
Working with Children Check
Experience teaching Years 7–12 English
Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
Commitment to student development and inclusive education
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other learning management tools
