n As our newest Switchboard Administrator, you'll work just 3 shifts per fortnight on a 24-hour roster, including weekends and public holidays.

About the role

Be the voice of the hospital. Answer calls professionally, connect people to the right place and keep things moving smoothly.
n
Keep everyone connected. Manage pagers, communication systems and staff updates so the right people get the right message at the right time.
n
Stay calm when it counts.



Quickly recognise emergencies, activate the correct response and follow hospital protocols like a pro.
n
Keep things running behind the scenes. Coordinate after-hours travel and accommodation, update records, support admin tasks and use initiative to keep the shift on track.

About you
n
n
Use your judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills, especially when things get busy or unexpected.
n
Communicate confidently with everyone from patients and visitors to staff and departments, building great working relationships along the way.
n
Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Word and Excel, and able to keep information accurate and up to date.
n
Share information, lend a hand and help create a supportive, collaborative team environment.
n

What we offer

Total remuneration value of up to $31,808 p.a. is comprised of:

An hourly rate between $***** - $***** p.h.
