Synergie Australia has partnered with a leading steel manufacturing company inWetherill Parkthat is looking for an experiencedForklift Driver who is interested in learning to operate a Mobicon.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift operator looking todevelop a new skill set and learn Mobicon machinery.
You don't necessarily need previous Mobicon experience.
If you have strong forklift experience, good hand-eye coordination and are comfortable learning new equipment,full training will be provided.
The Mobicon is operated usingjoysticks and camera systems, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, safety-focused and keen to learn.
We're looking for someone reliable and committed to the opportunity, with the potential fortemp-to-perm employmentfor the right person.
What You'll Be Doing
Operating forklifts, includingReach, Side Loader and Counterbalance
Learning to operateMobicon machinery
Using joystick and camera systems to safely manoeuvre equipment
Loading, unloading and moving steel products and materials
Supporting general warehouse and production activities
Following all safety procedures and site requirements
Conducting equipment checks and reporting any hazards or issues
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
Essential:




Proven forklift operating experience
Current forklift licence
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Good hand-eye coordination
Comfortable learning and operating new technology
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Willingness to learn Mobicon operations
Highly Desirable:
Experience operatingReach, Side Loader or Counterbalance forklifts
Previous warehouse, steel or manufacturing experience
Experience working around heavy materials or industrial equipment
Previous experience operating machinery using cameras, controls or joysticks
Previous temp-to-perm experience
