Job Description
This is a hands-on production position combining digital printing, artwork preparation and computer-based work. You'll take customer artwork from a digital file through to a finished print ready to be applied to clothing. Your main responsibility will be operating Direct to Film (DTF) digital printing equipment, producing vibrant, full-colour transfers for clothing and apparel. Some graphic design experience would be a great advantage, but you don't need to be a qualified Graphic Designer.

Key responsibilities

Preparing customer logos and artwork for printing
n
Setting up print layouts and managing daily print jobs
n
Checking colours, sizing and artwork placement
n
Monitoring print quality and consistency
n
Making basic artwork changes when required
n
Managing digital artwork and customer files
n
Carrying out basic cleaning and maintenance of printing equipment
n
Working alongside Graphic Designer, sales and production teams
n
Assisting with heat pressing and other production tasks as required
n

Confident using computers and learning new software

Excellent attention to detail

Enjoys practical, hands-on work

Good eye for colour, layout and presentation
n
Organised and able to manage multiple jobs

Takes pride in producing quality work

Reliable and works well within a team

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar design software would be highly regarded
n
Previous experience in digital printing, signage, heat pressing, embroidery or garment decoration would be an advantage
