Kanwal Village Medical Centre is looking for a medical receptionist to join our busy practice for a casual position, approx 15 hours a week.
General Practice experience is essential.
Medical Receptionist
We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly and busy team.
This position is for approximately 15 hours a week- over 3 shifts including Saturday mornings as well as covering shifts when needed.
Applicants may be asked to provide a police check.
Duties include:
Making appointments
receiving & sending emails/faxes
Receiving & chasing payments via cash,



Eftpos, Hot Docs (we are a private billing practice)
Medicare & DVA batching and claiming
General cleaning of practice
Opening & closing of the practice
Our ideal candidate will possess:
Experience working in General Practice
Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner
Detail-orientated
Ability to multi-task and priortise
Knowledge of Best Practice and Hot Docs
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
