We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Venue Manager to support the daily operations of our venue, drive service excellence and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.

About the Role:
n
As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operations of this large, multi-outlet venue. This is a hands-on role suited to a strong hospitality leader who thrives in busy environments, leads from the front, and is passionate about team development, compliance and guest experience.
n
You will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, with responsibility for rostering, labour costing and achieving KPI targets. The ideal candidate will be a confident and capable leader who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences
n
Maintain in-depth product knowledge across menus, wine lists, cocktails and spirits
n
Supervise the events team, ensuring all functions run seamlessly from arrival to farewell
n




Support and manage gaming operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and compliance
n
Drive performance by managing labour costs, rostering and budget adherence
n
Ensure accurate end-of-day cash-up procedures and thorough venue close-downs
n
Stay across venue compliance requirements and uphold operational standards
n
Lead, coach and develop the F&B; team through hands-on support and effective communication
n
Step into Duty Manager shifts when required
n
Contribute to the planning and execution of creative promotions and venue initiatives
n
n
About You:
n
Minimum three (3) years of experience in an Assistant Venue Manager, Assistant Manager or 2IC role within a high-volume hospitality environment
n
Highly motivated, customer-focused and passionate about hospitality
n
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, managing multiple priorities with efficiency and composure
n
Proven experience in staff rostering, labour cost management and budget control
n
A natural and confident leader with exceptional communication skills
n
Current RSA & RCG (essential) with a strong gaming background
n




Full Australian Working Rights (no sponsorship available for this role) and

Full availability to work a mix of nights, weekends and day shifts
n
A police check is required for this role
