About the role
n
We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join our team based in Arndell Park on a full-time permanent basis.
n
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries to ensure smooth department operations.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Loading, transporting, dispatching and delivering items to clients in a safe and timely manner.
n
Plan the delivery or pickup route to ensure economical use of time and equipment.
n
Ensure adherence to time schedules.
n
Review orders before and after dispatch/delivery to ensure they are complete.
n
Ensure delivery confirmations from each customer.
n
Provide an excellent standard of customer service at all times.
n
Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
n
Ensure all documents relating to
dispatch/deliveries




are utilised.
n
Conduct inspections of the vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
n
Fuel vehicles as needed and perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, and refer defects or repairs to the supervisor.
n
Assist with installations, equipment setup and minor repairs as required.
n
Interstate and Regional travel as required.
n
n
Skills/Experience Required
n
n
Proven experience as a delivery driver.
n
Warehouse operations experience. Familiarity with warehouse systems and practices.
n
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
n
Dependable, reliable, punctual, with excellent personal presentation.
n
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
n
Good organisational and time management skills.
n
Full Driver's license.
n
MR/HR Driver's license.
n
Valid forklift license.
n
