We're looking for a reliable, practical and mechanically minded person to join our manufacturing team at Moffat Beach on the Sunshine Coast.
n
4-Day Working Week
n
Work Monday to Thursday, 9.5 hours per day, with every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.
n
Overtime is available when production demand requires.
n
About the Role
n
This is primarily a hands‐on production and moulding position, with approximately 80% of the working day focused on our tank moulding process.
n
The balance of the role includes quality assurance, finishing and dispatch, with opportunities to develop skills in custom plastic fabrication.
n
Previous tank manufacturing or plastic fabrication experience is not essential. We're more interested in finding someone with good practical ability, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Working within our tank moulding production process
n




Preparing moulds and materials for production
n
Removing, finishing and preparing completed tanks
n
Inspecting finished products and completing QA checks
n
Pressure testing and verifying products prior to dispatch
n
Checking dimensions, fittings and specifications against customer orders
n
Packing, wrapping and preparing finished products for freight
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised production area
n
Identifying production or quality issues before products leave the factory
n
General workshop and production duties as required
n

There will also be opportunities to learn and assist with:

Custom plastic fabrication
n
Plastic welding
n
Installing fittings and associated components
n
Reading drawings and manufacturing from customer specifications
n
General fabrication and practical problem solving
n
n
About You
n
You don't need to come from the plastics industry.
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Is reliable and punctual
n
Has a strong work ethic and is comfortable with a physical day's work
n
Is practical and mechanically minded
n
Can confidently use basic hand and power tools
n
Can accurately measure and follow instructions
n




Has strong attention to detail
n
Takes responsibility for the quality of their work
n
Can work independently once trained
n
Works well as part of a small team
n
Is willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities
n
Will speak up when something doesn't look right
n
Is prepared to help wherever required to get the job completed
n
n
Experience in manufacturing, moulding, fabrication, automotive, mechanical, caravan/RV, marine, construction or another hands‐on environment would be highly regarded.
n
