The Role:
n
n
Assist the Venue Manager with the day-to-day running of the venue
n




Lead the team and maintain high customer service and presentation standards
n
Ensure company policies and gaming, liquor and regulatory requirements are followed
n
Oversee gaming and TAB operations, including cash handling and compliance
n
Complete opening, closing, security and venue lock-up procedures
n
Monitor labour costs, rostering and staffing requirements
n
Assist with weekly stocktakes, cash reconciliations and cost control
n
Support venue promotions and initiatives designed to drive sales and growth
n
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
n
Support the Venue Manager and confidently take charge in their absence
n
n
You'll be an experienced hospitality supervisor or Assistant Manager with a strong understanding of gaming, TAB and venue operations.
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
Previous experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role
n
Current Victorian Gaming Employee's Licence
n
TAB Cash Compliance and TAB ID25 knowledge
n
Victorian Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG)
certification/modules
n
Current RSA
n
Strong understanding of cash handling and compliance procedures
n
Experience with rostering, labour control and staff management
n
A confident, hands-on leadership style
n
Strong customer service and communication skills
n
The ability to maintain standards and make sound decisions when the Venue Manager is off-site
