You will be responsible for delivering scheduled maintenance, reactive works and contract requirements across commercial aquatic facilities.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong pool industry background, commercial plant room experience and a good understanding of pool water chemistry and equipment.
Key responsibilities
Completing scheduled pool and aquatic facility maintenance
Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
Inspecting and maintaining pool plant rooms and associated equipment
Monitoring and managing pool water chemistry
Identifying faults and providing practical solutions
Carrying out testing, servicing and minor repairs
Ordering parts and materials required to complete works
Managing allocated jobs from initial attendance through to completion
Maintaining accurate work notes, photos and service records
Working within client contracts, service schedules and site requirements
Communicating professionally with clients, facility managers and the Berry Air office
Maintaining a high standard of WHS and site compliance
About you
Previous experience working as a Pool Technician or in a similar aquatic maintenance role
Robust pool chemistry knowledge and experience
Experience with commercial pool systems and equipment
Ability to diagnose faults and carry out reactive maintenance




Good understanding of pool plant room operations
Ability to work independently and manage allocated works
Strong attention to detail and job documentation
Current driver's licence
A strong commitment to safety
Commercial aquatic facility experience
Experience with dosing systems, pumps, filtration and water treatment equipment
Refrigeration, HVAC, electrical or mechanical experience
Relevant pool industry qualifications
Experience working under council or commercial maintenance contracts
9-day fortnight available, or the option to accumulate RDOs
Stable, full-time position with a growing local business
