About Us
Australian Gold Capital is a well-established and growing national retail business operating in the physical gold and precious metals industry.
We buy and sell gold and silver bullion as well as gold jewellery.
No previous experience with gold, jewellery or precious metals is required. Full paid training is provided.
The Position
We are looking for a confident, reliable and motivated person to join our Brisbane retail team as a
Junior Store Manager
.
This is a hands‐on retail role involving serving customers, buying and selling products, performing calculations and pricing, and guiding customers through transactions.
You will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of the role. Once fully trained, you will take responsibility for the day‐to‐day operation of the store and be expected to work independently.
We are more interested in your
ability, attitude and reliability
than previous industry or management experience.

Good numeracy and confidence with basic calculations
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills
Reliable and punctual
Proactive and comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment
Good attention to detail
Comfortable taking responsibility




Able to follow procedures accurately
Able to work independently once trained
Previous experience in retail, customer service or sales is helpful but not essential.
Previous management experience is not required. As this position involves taking responsibility for a store once trained, we ask about any previous management, inventory, cash handling or reconciliation experience as part of the application. Applicants without this experience will still be considered.
We are looking for someone with the ability and attitude to take responsibility for their own store once fully trained.
