Newcastle Formwork Services is seeking experienced formworkers across all levels for ongoing commercial projects throughout Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter.
n
We are interested in hearing from:
n
n
Formwork carpenters
n
Leading hands
n
Experienced formwork labourers
n
Workers experienced in stripping formwork
n
n
Our work includes conventional formwork, suspended decks, concrete walls, columns, stairs, edge forms and associated commercial formwork.
n
About the roles
n
Depending on your experience, duties may include:
n
n
Setting out and constructing formwork
n
Conventional decks, walls, columns and stairs
n
Installing and stripping formwork systems
n
Stripping, cleaning and preparing materials for reuse
n
Reading construction and structural drawings
n
Assisting with concrete pours
n
Maintaining a safe and organised work area
n
Working productively as part of a small formwork crew
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Previous formwork experience
n
Reliable and able to work consistently
n
Strong work ethic and ability to work within a team
n
Construction White Card
n
Driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Own basic hand tools for carpenter positions
n
Good understanding of construction-site safety
n
n
Applicants with robust conventional formwork or stripping experience will be highly regarded.
