Core Talent is currently recruiting for a Leading Hand Carpenter to join an established, award-winning construction company delivering high-end, architecturally designed residential projects up to $15M across the Southern Highlands.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand looking to progress towards Foremanlevel, or a strong Carpenter who is ready to take the next step into leadership.
n
The Role
n
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of architecturally designed residential projects, including:
n
n
Leading and working alongside Carpenters and Apprentices
n
Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
n
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, finishes and quality
n
Assisting with programming and day-to-day site coordination
n
Reading and interpreting architectural drawings
n
Supporting projects through the full construction lifecycle
n
Communicating effectively with Site Managers,



trades and the wider project team
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who has:
n
n
Cert III in Carpentry
n
Experience within high-end / architecturally designed residential construction
n
Exposure to projects from groundworks through to completion
n
Experience supervising or mentoring Carpenters and Apprentices
n
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
n
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
n
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Ambition to progress into a Foreman or Site Supervisor position
n
