Duties will include but not be limited to:
Support the development and review of Council strategies, policies and planning initiatives.
Research emerging urban planning and Local Government matters.
Assist with planning advice across development applications, planning proposals and masterplans.
Contribute to the design and delivery of urban design and public domain projects.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, consultants and project teams.
Assist with strategic projects, spatial analysis and mapping across the City.

You will have
A relevant tertiary qualification in Urban & Regional Planning, Town Planning or a related discipline, completed within 24 months prior to February ****, and providing eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia.
Sound knowledge of environmental planning and Local Government legislation,



including the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act ****.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing presentation materials.
