Organisational growth has created an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to expand the current small national finance & administration team located at the business Head Office in Kings Park.
n
The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant will supplement the existing accounting staff to:
n
n
Assist in month end processes
n
Preparation of daily bank reconciliations and monthly corporate credit card reconciliations
n
Completion of weekly business KPI reporting
n
Fleet payment processing and reconciliations
n
Back-up and support for separately resourced Accounts Payable function
n
Back-up for weekly invoice and fleet pay processing
n
Monthly sales staff commission calculations
n
Other reasonable general administrative support functions for the business, as may be required
n

Key Skills/Attributes
n
Qualifications in Accounting,



Finance or similar.
n
Prior experience in a similar role beneficial
n
IT savvy & intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables & Formulas) and Word skillsTime management and organisation skills with the ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision
n
Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
n
