Primo Foods is seeking a Freezer & Dock Supervisor to join our Operations team in Wacol, QLD for a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role is responsible for coordinating warehouse operations, resources, equipment and workforce activities across the Freezer & Docks function to ensure the efficient storage, picking, packing and movement of goods. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you will support safety, quality, service and productivity outcomes while driving day-to-day operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate warehouse activities including receival, picking, dispatch, inventory movements, and vehicle turnaround in line with operational priorities
Promote and maintain a safe workplace by identifying, addressing and escalating safety risks and ensuring compliance with safety procedures
Support DIFOT performance through effective workflow coordination and operational planning
Ensure RF transactions, inventory records, pallet documentation, and system activities are completed accurately and on time
Monitor operations to ensure compliance with company policies, HACCP requirements, DAWR regulations, Secure Food standards, and quality management systems
Coordinate the efficient processing of transit vehicles to optimise throughput and minimise delays
Facilitate Toolbox Talks, team briefings, and operational training activities to support capability development and safety awareness
Monitor workforce resourcing, attendance trends,



leave planning, workload distribution, and overtime utilisation
Investigate and coordinate the resolution of inventory discrepancies, credit claims, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) data integrity issues
Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate documentation, and support internal and external audits
What You'll Bring
Experience in a similar supervisory role within a complex, multi-site environment
Sound knowledge of transport and distribution, logistics, warehouse operations, and storage management
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, DC systems, RF technology and Microsoft Office applications
Well-developed problem-solving, operational coordination, planning, and process improvement capabilities
Forklift licence required; relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are preferred
