We're looking for a motivated Venue Manager (3IC) to join our Coffs Coast team, based at either Moonee Beach Hotel or Toormina Hotel.
n
This is a hands-on, floor-based management role suited to an experienced Duty Manager or hospitality supervisor ready to take the next step.
n
Working as part of the venue management team, you'll help lead our people, run great shifts and ensure our customers receive a consistently great experience.
n
What you'll be doing
n
As Venue Manager (3IC), your focus will be on the successful day-to-day operation of the venue while you're on shift.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading and supervising the team during shifts
n
Opening and closing the venue and completing required procedures
n
Coordinating day-to-day service across the venue
n
Supporting and directing team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
n
Delivering high standards of customer service and handling customer enquiries or concerns
n
Ensuring RSA, gaming, WHS and other venue compliance requirements are followed
n
Managing cash handling, tills and end-of-shift procedures
n
Supporting the training and development of team members
n
Maintaining high standards of venue presentation, cleanliness and service
n
Responding appropriately to incidents and escalating matters where required
n
Communicating effectively with the wider management team and completing shift handovers
n
Supporting the General Manager and senior venue management team with day-to-day operations
n
n
About you
n
You'll be someone who is comfortable taking charge of a busy shift while still being willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
n
Ideally, you'll have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor or in a similar hospitality leadership role
n
Experience working in a busy pub, bar, restaurant or hospitality environment
n
Confidence leading a team and running shifts
n
Strong communication and customer service skills
n
A practical understanding of RSA, gaming and venue compliance
n
The ability to remain calm and make sensible decisions in a busy environment
n
Current RSA and any other relevant NSW hospitality certifications
n
Availability to work a adaptable roster, including evenings and weekends
n
n
Most importantly, we're looking for someone reliable, positive and hands‐on who enjoys hospitality and takes pride in running a great shift.
