Where you'll be working
Join the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS) at Blacktown Community Health Centre, delivering specialised, trauma-informed support across child protection, domestic and family violence, and sexual assault.

You will coordinate and manage referrals into the Child Protection Counselling Service while delivering high-quality early support, assessment and therapeutic interventions.




Manage Referral Management & Early Support (RMES) processes end-to-end
Coordinate referrals, engaging closely with stakeholders and agencies
Provide counselling, advocacy and case management to children and families
Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments and care planning
Support group programs and collaborate on integrated service delivery

Selection Criteria:
Tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor's degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Graduate Certificate in Human & Community Services (Interpersonal Trauma) and eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership
Demonstrated counselling experience in complex trauma and trauma informed practice within a Violence, Abuse & Neglect setting (e.g. sexual assault, child protection or domestic violence services)
Demonstrated assessment, case management and counselling skills with children, young people and adults
