SmartCare Diagnostics is seeking experienced Medical Officers to join our growing cardiac and diagnostic imaging team.
n
This is an opportunity for doctors with Emergency, Critical Care or Cardiology experience who want to continue using their acute clinical skills in a structured, well-supported environment — without shift work, nights or on-call.
n
The Role
n
You will provide onsite medical supervision for:
n
n
Exercise stress testing / Stress Echo
n
Pre-test clinical assessment and risk review
n
Management of contrast reactions or clinical deterioration where required
n
n
You will work alongside experienced cardiac sonographers, cardiac technicians and radiographers, with clinical support available from Emergency Medicine Specialists.
n

Applicants must have:
n
n
PGY4 or above
n
Current AHPRA medical registration
n
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n
Experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and/or Cardiology
n
Current medical indemnity insurance
n
Strong clinical judgement and confidence managing acute deterioration
n
Experience supervising cardiac stress testing or CT contrast administration is desirable, although appropriate orientation and support will be provided.
