As part of a reshaped Strategic Partnerships team, the Industry Engagement Manager will be the organisation's face to the industry – building relationships that help drive genuine commercial outcomes.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, this newly shaped manager-level role sits alongside an existing Relationships Manager as part of a small, high-performing team. The two roles are peers with complementary strengths, both central to making Strategic Partnerships the organisation's go-to function for industry engagement, relationship management and product / customer discovery.
n
You'll own relationships across a portfolio of peak bodies, developers, law firms and search brokers, representing the organisation independently at meetings and events. You'll also help build the more structured side of engagement – running or supporting industry reference groups and forums, keeping track of stakeholder activity and sentiment and feeding what you're hearing back into planning and reporting.

Day to day, you will:
n
n
Build and maintain relationships across peak bodies, developers, law firms and search brokers, acting as a trusted and consistent point of contact for industry;
n
Represent the organisation independently at meetings, forums and industry events;
n
Help plan and run structured engagement activity – industry reference groups,



roundtables and forums – with clear agendas and follow-through on actions;
n
Track engagement activity and stakeholder feedback, and turn it into practical insight and reporting for leadership;
n
Support delivery of the organisation's growth initiatives, working cross-functionally to help convert opportunities into outcomes; and
n
Keep the team running well – CRM management, engagement planning, action tracking, research and briefing prep without losing sight of the relationship-building that matters most.

About You
n
You genuinely enjoy getting out and meeting people – but you also know how to drive outcomes, not just build rapport.
n
You bring:
n
n
Proven experience as an industry engagement professional with strong operational discipline alongside stakeholder management skills;
n
Comfort moving between relationship-building and the more analytical side of the role – tracking engagement activity and turning what you're hearing into explicit, practical input for the team;
n
The confidence and judgement to represent an organisation solo – understanding what stakeholders are telling you, following through on issues and knowing when to escape;
n
A personality that's engaging, fun and comfortable building awareness and relationships from the ground up; and
n




A background in property, lending, paralegal work or legal practice highly regarded.
