We're looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor who loves hospitality, thrives in a busy environment and knows how to bring out the best in a team.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role across our key food & beverage outlets - The Grill restaurant, Alfie's Bar & Cocktail Lounge, Courtyard Café and Buckstop Café.
n
One shift might see you supporting a busy restaurant service, the next helping the team through a high-volume café period or bringing energy and leadership to Alfie's Bar. You'll need to be adaptable, confident and ready to jump in wherever you're needed.
n
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk, although there will be some administration involved, it's for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, solving problems, supporting their team and making sure our members and guests have a great experience.

The Grill delivers table-service dining and requires strong attention to service, food quality and guest experience.
n
Alfie's Bar & Cocktail Lounge brings a different pace and atmosphere, with a strong focus on beverage service, cocktails, guest engagement and creating the right vibe.
n
Courtyard Café and Buckstop Café are fast-paced environments with food available throughout the day and high-volume coffee and beverage periods.
n
You'll need to be comfortable moving between these environments and adapting your leadership style to suit the team, venue and service period.

Your role




n
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, reporting to our Head of Hospitality, you'll play an important role in the successful day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage outlets
n
Lead and support F&B; teams across multiple outlets
n
Be visible and hands-on during service
n
Ensure our teams deliver friendly, professional and consistent service
n
Coach, develop and support team members to reach their potential
n
Set the standard for service, presentation, cleanliness and professionalism
n
Assist with opening and closing procedures
n
Monitor service periods and respond quickly to changing operational demands
n
Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues in a calm and positive manner
n
Support stock control, ordering, replenishment and wastage management
n
Ensure food, beverage and venue standards are maintained
n
Support compliance with food safety, WHS and Club procedures
n
Communicate effectively with Duty Managers, F&B; leadership and other departments
n
Help coordinate staffing and priorities during busy periods
n
Step into different F&B; areas as required to support the operation
n
Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency and the guest experience
n

What you'll bring
n
Previous experience in a hospitality supervisory or leadership role
n
Strong customer service and communication skills
n
Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team during busy service periods
n
Sound knowledge of Food & Beverage operations
n
Experience with table service, bar operations and/or café operations
n
Barista experience would be highly regarded
n
Cocktail and beverage knowledge would be highly regarded
n
An understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
n
The ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
n
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great experiences
n
