Tweed Heads District Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Consultation Liaison team in Tweed, NSW.
This is a contract position running for approximately 11 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of 5 December ****.
The role offers an opportunity to deliver specialist mental health nursing support to young people in a consultation liaison capacity, working within a dedicated CAMHS team.
Specialist child and adolescent mental health nursing in a consultation liaison setting
Contract position, approximately 11 weeks, starting ASAP
Based at Tweed Heads District Hospital, close to the Gold Coast and Queensland border
Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA




Demonstrated experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
Solid clinical assessment and communication skills, particularly with young people and families
Current Violence Prevention and Management (VPM) competency or willingness to obtain it
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a consultation liaison model
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist experience in child and adolescent mental health nursing
Current First Aid and CPR certification
