A Class Metals is looking for an experienced senior fabricator to join our team in Caringbah.
n
This is full-time for a capable tradesperson who can fabricate quality stainless steel and Aluminium work with minimal supervision and take ownership of jobs from drawings through to finished product.
n
We are a fabrication business that specializes in aluminum and stainless steel work across a range of architectural and custom projects.
n
This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, maintains high standards, solves problems on the workshop floor and leads by example.

About the role
n
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a genuine senior fabricator with strong trade skills, sound judgement and a practical approach to quality, workflow and safety.
n
You will be trusted to fabricate accurately, think ahead, work independently and help maintain strong workshop standards.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Fabricating stainless steel and Aluminium to a high standard
n




Reading and working from drawings
n
TIG and/or MIG welding as required
n
Producing clean, accurate and well-finished work
n
Managing jobs with minimal supervision
n
Helping solve fabrication and workflow issues in the workshop
n
Supporting protected work practices and quality standards
n
Assisting less experienced team members where needed
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Strong experience in stainless steel and aluminum fabrication
n
Strong TIG and/or MIG welding capability in a productive environment
n
Ability to read drawings and fabricate accurately from plans
n
High standards of finish, detail and workmanship
n
Reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach
n
Good attitude and ability to work well in a team
n

Highly regarded
n
n
Experience in architectural metalwork
n
Leadership or mentoring ability
n
Variety of quality stainless steel and aluminum work
n
Well-equipped workshop in Caringbah
