Electrical Tradesman / Leading Hand/TA – Warehousing & Commercial Construction

As a Leading Hand, you'll play a key role in delivering medium to large commercial and industrial fit out projects across Sydney. You'll supervise electricians and apprentices, coordinate daily activities, and ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a permanent full-time position based in Silverwater, NSW. Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime: Compensated overtime + occasional Saturday work available.

Key responsibilities
n
Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on active project sites
n
Coordinate daily tasks, assign work, and manage schedules
n
Assist with project planning, staging, and progress reporting
n
Ensure strict OH&S; compliance and uphold client expectations
n
Perform and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
n
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on site
n
Conduct safety inspections and lead toolbox talks
n
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
n
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff
n
Monitor material usage, equipment, and project budgets
n
About you
n
Strong experience in warehousing and commercial fit outs
n




Licensed Electrical Tradesman
n
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise teams
n
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
n
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
n
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
n
Ability to adapt to new environments and work both independently and in a team
n
Exceptional customer service and stakeholder communication skills
n
Current Australian driver's licence required
