The Opportunity

We are looking for Diploma Qualified Educators and/or Early Childhood Teachers to join our Chisholm team.
n




We are open to discussing a range of employment arrangements, including full-time and part-time opportunities, depending on your experience, qualifications and availability.

The Role
n
As a Diploma Qualified Educator or Early Childhood Teacher at Tillys Chisholm, you will contribute to providing high-quality education and care while supporting children's individual learning, development, safety and wellbeing.
n
You will work collaboratively with your team to create engaging learning environments and meaningful experiences that encourage children to explore, investigate, communicate and develop confidence in their abilities.
n
Depending on your qualification and role, you will contribute to curriculum planning, implementation, assessment and reflection, while supporting children's learning through intentional and spontaneous experiences.
n

About You
n
You bring heart, curiosity and a genuine passion for early learning. You are committed to creating meaningful experiences where children feel confident, capable, respected and supported.
n
You will have:
n
A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or be currently completing your qualification.
n
Completion of the National Child Safety Training via Geccko, with a current certificate of completion.
n
A commitment to child and cultural safety.
n
An understanding of child protection and reporting obligations.
n
A collaborative, inclusive approach and a desire to make a positive difference.
n
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 6.30am and 6.30pm, where required.
n




A current Working with Children Check NSW.
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
n
A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
n
Experience in planning, implementing, assessing and evaluating learning experiences that respond to children's interests, strengths and individual learning needs.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
A genuine commitment to child safety, including zero tolerance to harm or risk of harm to all children and a commitment to a culture of reporting harm or risk of harm.
n
For Early Childhood Teachers
n
ECT applicants will also bring:
n
An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised under the relevant Australian regulatory requirements.
n
Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and contemporary early childhood teaching practices.
n
Experience developing and implementing intentional teaching strategies and curriculum.
n
Confidence in leading curriculum planning, assessment and reflective practice.
n
A commitment to supporting children's transition to school and developing strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
