The opportunity
n
We have an opportunity for either a Qualified Small Engine Mechanic / Mechanical Trade Assist / or Service-Person (a non-qualified but mechanically minded individual) to service, repair and coordinate small plant and equipment maintenance at our Sumner workshop.
n
The role will work with a large range of equipment covering: from portable toilets, chainsaws, whipper snippers, excavators, scissor lifts, to boom lifts, cherry pickers, mini loaders, quick cut saws, plate compactors, trailers, vacuum pumps, a range of different size motors,



generators and much, much more.

About You
n
You will be in charge of representing and showcasing Direct Hire's excellent service and equipment quality, expert advice, whilst maintaining high standards of equipment quality through servicing, a positive attitude and a safety conscious approach to your everyday tasks.
n
To be successful for this position, the following qualifications are preferable.
n

Mechanical trade (Small engine desirable but not essential)
n
Forklift license and construction white card (Essential)
n
Team player and willingness to learn on the job
n
Punctual with a professional approach
n
Safety conscious
