Physiotherapist (Level 4) - Clinical Educator and Intensive Care Unit - Wollongong Hospital
The Physiotherapy Team Leader role offers a unique opportunity to directly influence patient care while maintaining oversight of site operations, ensuring both clinical excellence and efficient governance.
$131,585 - $134,775 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging | Temporary Full-Time | Wollongong Hospital (TWH) | REQ****** | Grade: Physiotherapist Level 4 | Applications close: 22 September ****

As a Physiotherapy Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality clinical care within medical physiotherapy inpatient services.
You will assist the Physiotherapy Acute Unit Head with the operational governance of the medical physiotherapy team.
Your responsibilities will include leading and managing a dedicated team of physiotherapists, ensuring staff are well-supported and delivering effective care.
You will be expected to actively engage in the supervision and development of staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to ongoing quality improvement projects and research, helping to drive innovation and enhance patient outcomes.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500.
The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
Wollongong is located an hour's drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east and the Illawarra Escarpment to the west.

In addition, please note you must have the following essential requirements:
Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current Physiotherapy Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Extensive post graduate clinical experience in the specialty area including the management of complex patients and the provision of consultation acrosshospitals/sites/streams.
Current NSW drivers' licence or equivalent.
This is a temporary leave relief position until 25 March **** with the possibility of extension.
