About the opportunity

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our ward nursing team on a casual basis. We are particularly interested in nurses who are available to work night shifts.

This is a strong opportunity for early to mid-career nurses looking to build their experience in a supportive clinical environment.

About the role
n
You will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ward, supporting recovery following day surgery procedures. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient and patient-focused care.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering safe and effective patient care in the ward environment
n
Monitoring patient progress and responding to clinical needs
n
Supporting discharge planning and patient education
n
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
n
Working collaboratively within the care team
n

You will demonstrate:

Experience working in a ward setting

Strong clinical skills and attention to detail

Commitment to patient safety and safe work practices

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

A positive and proactive approach to patient care

Flexibility to undertake occasional night shifts

Requirements
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum one to two years of clinical experience
n
Ophthalmology experience desirable, not essential
n
