A capable Lawyer with diverse experience to join a Lower North Shore practice office.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of client and commercial matters while contributing to the strategic objectives of a growing practice.
Key responsibilities
Managing matters end-to-end, from initial advice through to resolution, including (where applicable) discovery, witness preparation and court appearances
Drafting high-quality legal documents: pleadings, affidavits, notices of motion, submissions, advices and correspondence
Providing strategic commercial advice focused on dispute prevention and risk mitigation
Advising on contractual disputes and commercial transactions
Conducting legal research and analysis on complex issues
Briefing and collaborating with counsel
Representing clients in negotiations




Maintaining accurate file management and meeting all professional and regulatory obligations
Supporting business development and strengthening client relationships
Working closely with the Principal, fellow solicitors and support staff to deliver strong outcomes for the practice
About you
3 years experience post PQE
Strong written communication — clear, concise and persuasive
A disciplined work ethic and ownership of files; reliable, organised and detail-driven
Confidence dealing with clients, counsel, courts and other solicitors
Exposure to family matters, criminal matters, contractual disputes, debt recovery and enforcement, employment disputes, litigious and dispute resolution matters, or general corporate and commercial work
