The Role
As a My Home Plan Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in helping customers turn their home ownership dreams into reality. Working closely with clients, brokers and key stakeholders, you'll provide personalised guidance to improve financial readiness, overcome barriers to lending and create clear pathways toward home loan approval.
This is a highly relationship-focused role that blends customer service, financial coaching and stakeholder management. You'll support clients throughout their journey, celebrating milestones, navigating challenges and ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through to loan readiness.
Other key responsibilities include:
Partner with brokers to understand client goals, borrowing capacity and property aspirations




Conduct My Home Plan consultations and develop tailored action plans aligned to each client's circumstances
Identify opportunities to improve financial readiness, including savings strategies, debt reduction and credit profile improvements
Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication, coaching and progress reviews
Collaborate with builders, consultants, brokers and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience
Monitor client progress against agreed milestones and proactively manage potential challenges
Maintain accurate records, documentation and compliance requirements in line with NCCP obligations
Provide timely updates to all relevant stakeholders regarding client progress, achievements and key milestones
About You
The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:
A genuine passion for helping people achieve their financial and home ownership goals
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to influence and educate others
Ability to understand individual circumstances and develop practical solutions to support positive outcomes




Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively
A proactive and resilient approach with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
Experience within mortgage broking, banking, lending, financial services or a customer-focused environment will be highly regarded
Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (advantageous but not essential)
