Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre - Kingswood

We are seeking a warm, reliable and experienced cook to join our friendly team at Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre in Kingswood.
n
About the role
n
This is a permanent part-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:00 am-2:30 pm, totalling 35 paid hours per week.
n
You will prepare fresh, nutritious and appealing meals and snacks for children aged six weeks to six years while managing the day-to-day operation of the centre kitchen.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Prepare morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and snack each day.
n
Plan and maintain nutritious, child-friendly menus.
n
Manage allergies, intolerances and individual dietary and cultural requirements.
n
Order food and maintain appropriate stock levels.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
n
Complete food-safety records and temperature checks.
n




Work collaboratively with educators and centre management.
n
n
About you
n
n
Previous experience cooking in a childcare centre or similar setting.
n
Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
n
Current NSW Working with Children Check.
n
Experience preparing meals in bulk.
n
Sound knowledge of food safety, allergies and dietary requirements.
n
Strong organisation and time-management skills.
n
A reliable, warm and team-focused approach.
n
n
A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care would be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
