Vitalus is looking for an energetic and reliable
Warehouse Storeperson
to join our Yatala warehouse on our afternoon shift.
This is primarily a
Goods In and replenishment role
. You'll be receiving stock, scanning it into our system, putting it away, rotating stock and keeping picking locations replenished throughout the warehouse.
It's a physical, hands-on role, so we're looking for someone with plenty of energy, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to get stuck in.
The Role
Working
Monday to Friday, 1:00pm–9:00pm
, you'll be responsible for:
Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
Receipting stock into our system using RF scanners
Putting stock away quickly and accurately
Rotating stock and managing expiry dates
Replenishing pick locations throughout the warehouse
Moving cartons and stock around the warehouse
Assisting with stocktakes and general warehouse duties
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Jumping into pick and pack when the team needs an extra hand
Operating a forklift if licensed
You'll primarily work the afternoon shift, which attracts an additional shift loading, but you'll also need some flexibility to work our
7:00am–3:00pm day shift when required
to help cover leave, absences or operational needs.
Who We're Looking For
Experience is important, but attitude matters just as much.
We're looking for someone who:
Is
physically fit and enjoys an active job
Has a strong work ethic and doesn't need to be constantly directed
Works with a sense of urgency while still getting things right
Is reliable and turns up ready to work
Takes pride in keeping stock and the warehouse organised
Is comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual handling
Works well as part of a team
Is happy to jump into different warehouse tasks when needed
Highly regarded:
Previous Goods In, receiving or replenishment experience
RF scanner experience
Current forklift licence
Pick and pack experience
A
forklift licence is highly desirable but not essential
, so don't let that stop you applying if you've got strong warehouse experience and the right attitude.
