Business Development Manager - Intumescent Coatings/Passive Fire Protection
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established supplier of passive fire protection systems and help drive the next stage of growth across Victoria.
The business specialises in intumescent coatings and associated fire-rated products, working across commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
While the business is well established, they are very forward-thinking and have ambitious plans for continued growth and expansion and are already planning their growth through **** and beyond.

The Role
Develop new business across the Melbourne construction and infrastructure market
Grow sales of intumescent coatings and passive fire protection products
Build relationships with builders, fire engineers, specifiers, contractors and asset owners
Identify new projects from early specification through to delivery
Drive product specification and influence purchasing decisions
Provide technical and commercial support to customers alongside internal technical teams
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing




Maintain a strong pipeline and accurately forecast future sales
Attend site meetings, client presentations and industry events
About You
We're looking for an experienced BDM or technical sales professional who understands construction and project-driven sales.
You could come from:
Construction or building products
Protective coatings
Technical construction products
Engineering products or solutions
You will need to be commercially minded, confident dealing with technical stakeholders and comfortable developing relationships from the ground up.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is motivated by growth, enjoys winning new business and wants to be part of a business that is genuinely investing in its future.
