Ramcorp are a privately owned civil construction and underground mining company supplying various related equipment and labour services throughout the country.

On behalf of our valued client, we are currently seeking suitably experienced applications to fill the role of Underground Bogger Operator. This position is on a 7 and 7 rotating roster, between dayshift and nightshift. Located in Victoria, whilst working 12-hour shifts.

About the role:
n
Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, the Bogger operator is responsible for:
n
n
Bogging of development headings production stopes
n
Loading stockpiles to trucks
n
Keep trucks operating at full efficiency
n
Bog out and clean faces
n
Inspect for misfires, promptly notify the Shift Supervisor, and perform hosing down and scaling as required
n
Remote Bogging from open stopes using Tele-Remotes
n
Tram material from stockpiles
n




Keep all roads in working area tidy and free from pooling water and other potential hazards
n
Manual and Tele-Remote bogging of production stopes to stockpiles
n

About You:
n
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
n
n
Experience with underground hard rock mining techniques, including watering, scaling, bogging of development headings and production stopes
n
Initiative and a flexible approach to work
n
A willingness to build a safe and productive work culture with a high focus on quality and the ability to work autonomously
n
Demonstrates solid teamwork and collaboration skills
n
Ability to operate Sandvik/Cat loaders
n
Experience in production charging
n
Current Vic Shot firing / Black ticket (advantageous)
n
n
