We're currently looking for an experienced Civil Draftsperson to join the Groundswell team. If you take pride in producing high-quality documentation, enjoy working collaboratively and are looking for a role where you can genuinely contribute to how projects are delivered, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll work closely with our engineers and designers across a diverse range of projects, helping turn design intent into clear, accurate and practical civil documentation from concept through to construction.

What you'll bring
n
n
3–5 years' civil drafting experience, ideally within an Australian engineering consultancy
n
A Diploma or Certificate in CAD Drafting, or equivalent practical experience
n
Strong proficiency in civil drafting software and documentation workflows
n
A sound understanding of civil design principles, including earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities and general civil infrastructure
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clear, accurate and high-quality documentation
n
The ability to manage your drafting workload and deliver work in line with project milestones
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and solutions-focused mindset
n
A willingness to share knowledge and contribute to the continual improvement of our drafting standards and processes
n
Unrestricted Australian work rights at the time of application

Your role at Groundswell
n
n
Preparing civil drawings and documentation across earthworks, drainage, roads,



utilities and general civil infrastructure
n
Turning engineering and design intent into clear, accurate and practical drawings
n
Producing documentation in accordance with Australian Standards, project requirements and client expectations
n
Working closely with engineers, designers, consultants and other project stakeholders
n
Managing drafting tasks across multiple projects and contributing to effective project delivery
n
Supporting projects across different stages, from concept and approvals through to detailed design and construction
n
Contributing to a collaborative team environment where ideas, knowledge and continuous improvement are encouraged
