About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the maintenance, facilities and safety operations for a busy manufacturing facility based in Frenchs Forest.
n
This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety and compliance of site infrastructure, including buildings, plant, essential services and contractor operations. You will play a key role in supporting production continuity while driving improvements across maintenance, safety and site services.
n
Experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP environment is highly regarded, however candidates from manufacturing, FMCG, food production, medical devices, logistics, industrial or other regulated environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the site
n
Manage building services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
n
Coordinate contractors, maintenance programs,



site upgrades and capital works
n
Ensure critical infrastructure and essential services remain operational
n
Own the site's WHS function, driving compliance with legislation and company standards
n
Lead safety initiatives including audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement
n
Deliver safety training, contractor inductions and toolbox talks
n
Manage site services including security, cleaning, waste and pest control
n
Oversee maintenance budgets, supplier relationships and contractor performance
n
Support business continuity through effective facilities and infrastructure management
n

About You You will have:
n
n
Proven experience managing facilities, maintenance or site operations within a manufacturing or industrial workplace
n
Strong contractor management and maintenance planning experience
n
Knowledge of building services and essential infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, mechanical or plumbing)
n
Sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
n
Experience leading safety programs, audits and incident investigations
n
Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, trade or WHS (highly regarded)
n
Experience working in a regulated environment (advantageous)
n
Current driver's licence and the ability to support occasional after-hours site requirements when needed
