Seeking a full-time, hands‐on Housekeeping Manager for ACCOR - Mantra Meridien and BreakFree North Adelaide properties; you'll lead a dedicated team in delivering spotless, secure and welcoming spaces, driving high standards and guest satisfaction while working closely with our General and Maintenance Manager.
Key responsibilities
Manage and oversee the housekeeping team, including scheduling, training, and rostering.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Implement cleaning standards and foster productivity, motivation, and professional growth among all Housekeeping Team Members
Procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping‐related inventory while managing budgets & controlling expenses to achieve budget targets and KPI's
Adhere to compliance with chemical safety and Occupational Health & Safety regulations; ensure that all team members follow safety protocols
Track labour expenses and productivity relative to occupancy rates, while also conducting daily inspections to assess room cleanliness standards
Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Utilize Opera and Flexkeeping systems reports and documentation
Investigate and resolve any housekeeping‐related guest complaints - internal & external
Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and productivity within the housekeeping department
About you




Minimum of 2 years' experience in a housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry
Exhibit outstanding communication, interpersonal, and time management abilities, coupled with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Display a solution‐based mindset with adaptability to ensure seamless daily operations
Balance effective leadership with a collaborative team spirit, actively engaging in hands‐on support to ensure the team's success
Able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required with a driver's license
Proficient in inventory management and budgeting
