About the role
Complete GRP is seeking a reliable and motivatedGelcoater, Fibreglasser or Factory Handto join our team on afull-time basisinSteiglitz, QLD ****.
This is a hands-on production role involved in manufacturing high-quality fibreglass products.
Depending on your skills and experience, your duties may include gelcoat application, fibreglass laminating, mould preparation, trimming, finishing and general factory work.
Previous fibreglass or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.
Training can be provided to the right person who has a good attitude, is reliable and is willing to learn.
Key responsibilities
Apply gelcoat to fibreglass moulds using spray equipment
Prepare moulds by cleaning, waxing and applying release agents
Laminate fibreglass components
Inspect completed work for defects, imperfections
Clean and maintain spray guns, tools and other production equipment
Handle resins,
catalysts and other materials safely
Assist with general factory duties as required
Work with the production team to meet quality standards and production targets
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
Experience in gelcoating, fibreglass laminating, composites or manufacturing is preferred but not essential
A reliable person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Valuable attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work in a factory environment
A current forklift licence/ticket would be an advantage
Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean work area
