The role
You'll deliver and assess theRII***** Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Designto international students, create an engaging and inclusive classroom, and uphold assessment and compliance standards.
The role includes lesson preparation, assessment marking, student support, and industry-aligned learning.
Holder ofRII*****(or higher in the same field).
TAE***** or TAE*****(or diploma/higher in adult education).
Minimum 5 years recent industry experienceincivil construction designand demonstrableindustry currency.
Proven experience delivering and assessing relevant qualifications.
Sound knowledge of theprinciples of assessment & rules of evidence.
Effectiveclassroom management,



time management and communication skills.
Confidentcomputer skills;LMS (Moodle or similar) experiencehighly desirable.
Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment and support learners with varying English proficiency.
International cohort experience highly regarded.
Experience mapping and validating assessment tools for RII*****.
Familiarity with civil design software and standards (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d, Australian Standards).
Experience with CRICOS compliance and supporting international student success.
Evidence of recentCPDand industry engagement.

The casual hourly rate is a clock-hour rate, which includes the 25% casual loading and is paid for all rostered teaching, preparation, marking, meetings and administrative work.
