Electrical Apprentice
in
Kooragang Island NSW.
About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Repair & maintain electrical infrastructure
Overhead, underground & plant power supply
Repair & maintain electrical control, wiring & lighting systems
Read technical drawings & blueprints
Perform electrical maintenance
Inspect transformers, & circuit breakers and other electrical components
Assisting tradesmen
Use of hand and power tools
What we're looking for - Skills & Experience
Basic understanding of electrotechnology and demonstrate an interest in this field
Robust attention to detail
Electrical & Mechanical aptitude as well as high mathematics aptitude
Strong communication skills and work well within a team
Superior safety awareness
Long term career goals and commitment to complete the apprenticeship
Reliable on the job, high initiative, and adaptability
Driver's licence and own transport (preferred)
Certificate II in Electrotechnology (preferred)
Hold a white card
